Chptr is the all-in-one management platform for Greek organizations.
Our software gives chapters one place to manage communication, attendance, points, events, documents, vendor booking, vendor payments, photo sharing, and more through a mobile app and web portal.
Beyond the software, Chptr also provides hands-on support through school-specific relationships, executive guidance, officer transition support, and access to the Chptr Collective, our group purchasing platform designed to help organizations access stronger vendors and better pricing.
How much does Chptr cost?
Chptr is currently available to sororities and fraternities at no cost.
As the platform continues to evolve, our pricing structure may also evolve over time. Any future changes would be communicated clearly and thoughtfully to the organizations we serve.
How does Chptr make money?
Today, Chptr generates revenue through vendor partnerships within our ecosystem.
In certain cases, vendors participate more deeply in the platform through partnership arrangements tied to visibility, pricing programs, and broader collaboration with Chptr. Our model is designed so that we succeed by creating value for the organizations and vendors we support.
Is Chptr really free for organizations to use?
Yes. Chptr’s core platform is currently free for sororities and fraternities to use.
We believe that broad access is important, and while our business model may continue to mature over time, organizations do not currently pay to use the platform.
What makes Chptr different?
Chptr combines software, payments infrastructure, vendor management, and hands-on operational support in one platform built specifically for Greek organizations.
Most tools in this space solve only one part of the problem. Chptr brings chapter operations into one system while helping organizations create more consistency, accountability, and continuity from one executive team to the next.
What is the Chptr Collective?
The Chptr Collective is Chptr’s Group Purchasing Organization (GPO), exclusively for Greek organizations.
It is designed to help chapters access stronger vendor options, more competitive pricing, and a more professional purchasing process across the categories they use most.
In certain categories, Chptr works directly with vendors to improve pricing, service expectations, and long-term accountability so organizations can operate with more confidence and less friction.
Can we still use our own vendors?
Yes. Organizations can continue using their own vendors and add them into Chptr for recordkeeping, communication, and payments.
This gives chapters the flexibility to work with the vendors they know while still benefiting from the structure, visibility, and organization the platform provides.
What is Chptr’s approach to privacy and data security?
Chptr takes privacy and data security seriously.
Our platform is built on leading cloud infrastructure designed for security, reliability, and scalability. We also engage qualified third-party partners to conduct security reviews and assessments of our systems and practices on a regular basis.
Chptr does not sell personal data. We are committed to protecting user information and using data responsibly to support the platform experience and ongoing improvement.
